Someone asked for the True Figures of Who's Leaving? So here they Are:

2005 217 Officers Retired, Dismissed, Deceased or Resigned

By the Way, that was twenty-seven (27) prior to August 28, 2005, the rest after (190).

2006 120 Officers Retired, Dismissed, Deceased or Resigned as of 07-25-2006, which includes two (2) on 07-25-2006 for a total of twelve (12) for the month of July, so far.

Now that we know the number of people that have resigned; what are the manpower numbers are the administration citing to the media?

I remember one of the PANO board members talking a while back about posting the numbers of people in each district / number of people working on each platoon. This seems to be a perfect place to do that, can that be done ?

I am sure some of the public is checking this site and maybe some of the media, just curious if we can get that out.

We can probably do that. But there are a good many "specialized" units & hidden groups that will elude regular manpower reports, so that while the district figures might be accurate, the overall tally citywide might be skewed.
