Is PaulmoJD Paul M who use to be in PIB ?
I see his post on NOLA.COM and he appears to be one who is looking for justice, but I though he was the person that screwed over the First District guys, and wrote the report that was used against him.

Just curious.

Yes

There are some things I am not at liberty to comment on and some that I can. Paul was a major particpant, contributor, and collaborator in that investigation and report. You all know what the report said, you all know what the report ultimately was detertmined to be. I will let Paulmo and his record speak for themselves.

Yes its me guys. First thing I would love to clarify is that although I wrote the body of the report (the investigation section of the report) in question, the findings were not my authorship, nor were they my ideas, there were many other hands in the pot and many other factors at play that I had absolutely no control over. Additionally, I actually fought against the disciplinary action eventually decided upon (although I was able to win a small battle, I lost the war badly), but then again I was the lowest voice on the speaker. I will not comment on all of the gory details in here for obvious reasons, but if you guys involved ever want to know some of them you are free to contact me and I will fill you in on what I can.

During my time at PIB I exhonorated, unfounded, or obtained withdrawals on more cases than any other investigator in the unit. All I can say is that the First District case was the icing on the cake for me and made me realize that what they were doing was NOT what I thought they were supposed to be doing and really cemented my decision to retire 1 year short of my 25 years and take the severe pension hit. Looking back, I'm glad I retired from there because from what I am hearing PIB has gone from bad to worse.

Paul I am suprised you posted your comments, I am curious as to what the guys involved in the First District Case think about them.

I never had anything to hide. I never had any animosity towards any of the guys involved in the First District case and was always friendly with all of them. I have nothing but respect for Lt. G and his abilities, always have. Again, I did write the investigation, but the conclusions drawn and the discipline levied were not mine and were decided at levels way above me. I believe Capt. O knew that the whole time and I would hope that the others involved also realize it.

Again, I'm open to discussing as much as I can with those involved in the case, but I won't post it publicly because it serves no purpose. It is over and done with, I didn't think the discipline was commensurate with the perceived offense, the outcome cemented my decision to leave with only 24 years and take the pension penalty for not hitting 25.
