General Membership Meeting Tuesday, October 10, 2006
Executive Board Members Absent: Dwayne Scheuermann, Jean Beckemeyer. Meeting Called to order at approximately 7:10PM, on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 by Paul Noel. Opening Remarks by Michael Glasser: Positive response from PANO Website & E-Mail-Thread Forum Next session of PANO sponsored “Court Training” for Officers to be conducted with cooperation of the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. The cost of the training to be paid for by the New Orleans Police Foundation. Officer Chris Laine be released from hospital in near future. PANO in contact with city concerning P/O II, III and IV promotions. . PANO was successful in meeting with the city in regards to overtime pay. Any Officer who works passed his ETOD shall be paid overtime for the duration of time worked. The officer should be entered into the TRIP System under code “W03”. Membership Drive for new members. PANO to participate and work with FOP in effort of Labor Council & Collective Bargaining. Special Grand Jury to begin hearing testimony on a police involved shooting incident that occurred at the Danzinger Bridge. PANO President along with heads of other organizations to meet with Superintendent Riley on Thursday, October 12, 2006 in regards to concerns of the membership.
